Margaret Joan Franklin was born on 4th June 1921 in Corsham Nursing Home, Wiltshire. Her father George was 29, her mother Joyce Camilla was 20 and her brother John was 15 months old. She had two younger sisters Barbara & Pauline and has two younger brothers Peter & Malcolm.
